The sanskrit word Hatha literally means "force".

It’s yoga class that's typically slow-paced with a focus on proper alignment. Hatha also focuses on breathwork timed to movements, typically at a slow pace and classes could include meditation and chanting as well.

Because hatha tends to be a slower form of yoga with a greater emphasis on pose instruction (versus simply performing them), it's a great type of yoga for beginners. Hatha could also be good for anyone who has a difficult time in focusing on something.

The sanskrit word Kundalini literally means "coiled one".

Hi, I’m Alexandra! I’m a USC graduate, yoga and meditation teacher, Reiki master, and lifestyle and wellness coach. My body of work revolves around self-care and lifestyle as a means to cultivate physical health, inner peace, health, happiness, love, and abundance.

I teach my clients all over the world how to become their own healers as I walk them through the clearing process of their physical ailments, traumas, wounds, and blocks.
